The first phase of the ski resort is equipped with 16 ski trails, each named with historical and cultural elements. Advanced trails include: Yanmen Pass (adjacent to the "First Pass in China" Yanmen Pass, with the saying that "Yanmen Pass is the head of the nine fortresses in the world"); Daiyue Road (the name of the urban area of Shanyin County, where Guangwu International Ski Resort is located); Wangyue Road (the longest snow track in the first phase, with a total length of 1500 meters); Sanggan Road (named after Sanggan River, which is the mother river of the people of Shanyin and nourishes Shanyin). Intermediate roads include: Butterfly Road (named after the famous tourist attraction Butterfly Valley in Shanyin County); Guangwu Road (meaning 'Guangwu' has a vast potential for use and is also the location of the ski resort); Jinshatan Road (named after Jinshatan Scenic Area, 20 kilometers west of Huairen City). The connecting road is named "Mayi Road" (named after the ancient name of "Mayi" in Shuozhou, and Mayi County was established in the Qin and Han dynasties in present-day Shuozhou City, Shanxi).
